Dedicated to John C. Pennington, KIA June 9, 1968, Vietnam. John was my AAU swimming coach at the Roy Municipal Pool when I was 7-9 years old. I started crying in front of a touring mock-up of the Vietnam Memorial Wall 18 years later. I wrote the song that night. I’m still crying.
